As a licenced trainer, we offer the 2-day face to face Standard Mental Health First Aid training. We offer both as both public and private (corporate, business, organisations, clubs, churches, etc) based training.
If you are a business or organisation, we can conduct this training in-house for your workers.
Or if you are interested as an individual, then check our dates up upcoming public training opportunities.
"1 in 5 Australians will experience a mental health problem in any given year. That means that every person is likely to know someone who is experiencing a mental health problem, whether that is a family member, a friend or colleague. In fact, mental illness is now said to affect every Australian either directly or indirectly.
We need more mental health literacy and support skills in the community to help catch more Australians experiencing mental health problems and troubled times.
This is where Mental Health First Aid training can help."
All organisations, under the WHS Act are now also responsible for managing the psychosocial risks, and this course can assist and show effort towards managing those risks.
If you are a business, organisation, club, church group etc, and are considering this course for your organisation, please get in touch and enquire now.
We are currently available Fridays and weekends and can arrange a time to suit your needs. We are also available to travel if you are outside the Brisbane area.
